Our Vision for the Tourism Industry

Sustainable tourism aims for the growth of the tourism industry in harmony with the environment and local communities. The projects to realize this vision are divided into several key areas of activity. Research and investigation of sustainable tourism, as well as activities to promote awareness of sustainable tourism including environmental and cultural protection, play a crucial role in enhancing sustainability in the tourism industry.

In particular, because the tourism industry has a significant impact on the environment and local cultures, it is essential to strengthen the dissemination and collection of information and international cross-cultural exchanges. Through the following activities, our organization aims to build a foundation for achieving sustainable tourism:

Research and investigation of sustainable tourism.

Awareness activities to promote sustainable tourism, including environmental and cultural protection.

Promotion of international exchange through tourism promotion.

Strengthening cooperation with foreign embassies in Japan and international organizations to research and investigate tourism-related information.

Collection, analysis, dissemination, and provision of tourism information.

Holding study sessions, lectures, seminars, and other events related to the above.

Publication of newsletters and books.

Other activities incidental or related to the above.

The tourism industry faces various challenges with global growth, including climate change, environmental impact, and friction with local communities due to overtourism.

To address these issues, our organization is dedicated to promoting and implementing sustainable tourism through necessary research, awareness activities, strengthening international cooperation, and collecting and providing tourism-related information. Building the future of the tourism industry requires maintaining a balance between the environment, economy, and local communities.

Achieving sustainable tourism involves not only tourism businesses but also tourists, local residents, and international partnerships. We aim to work with various stakeholders to lead the entire tourism industry towards a sustainable future. We sincerely ask for your understanding and support.

Individual Membership

Regular Member: ¥10,000 per month / ¥120,000 per year
Associate Member: ¥5,000 per month / ¥60,000 per year

Corporate Membership

Regular Member: ¥50,000 per month / ¥600,000 per year
Associate Member: ¥25,000 per month / ¥300,000 per year

Members will receive invitations and information about study sessions, seminars, and social gatherings organized by our organization, as well as reports related to our objectives.
